To be on the other side of the island doesn’t mean you can forgo the nice things of life! Conversely it means you can choose what you want in the way you want it! This is the reason I decided to live in Kalafatis. 50 mt away from Bandanna there is a well equipped wind-surf station owned by friends, where you can hire the right equipment to ride the waves. If you prefer to stay under the waves, in one minute you can be at the diving school where you can learn more or rent gear for your preferred hobby. If you are a “beach bum” you can choose between the two beaches or, just five minutes away by car or scooter you’ll discover dozens of them. If you need the unbridled night down town, in 15 mins by taxi or 20 mins by bus you’ll arrive at crazy Chora. |
